Call for Presentations is Now Open!

The FBI National Academy Associates is now accepting session submissions for presentation at the 2027 FBINAA National Annual Conference, July 12-15 in Phoenix, Arizona. FBINAA members and non-member speakers with valuable law enforcement training and speaking experience are encouraged to submit. The deadline to submit proposals is November 2, 2026, 5:00 pm Eastern Time.

FBI National Academy graduates wishing to be considered to present at the annual conference must be a current, active FBINAA member in good standing.

Based on the education and training needs of the membership, topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Case Studies – Pre-Event and Post-Event Lessons from Recent Law Enforcement Incident(s)
  • Ethical Considerations for Intervention – ABLE, DTI, or similar
  • Law and Legal – Case Law, Liability, Emerging Trends
  • Leadership Development – Motivation, Executive Advancement
  • Community Trends – Community Policing, Extreme/Radical Groups, Homegrown Race-Based Violence, Civil Unrest and Protests
  • Emerging Technologies – RTCC, Body-Worn Cameras, Drones, Other Camera/Video Systems, Communications, Forensics, Advanced Intelligence, Tactical Gear, Personal Protection (e.g., Tourniquets, Quick Clot, Stop the Bleed
  • Officer Safety and Wellness / Resilience / Health: Professional and Personal – Physical Health Conditioning for Mid-Level and Top-Level Executives, Mental Health and Well-Being, Spiritual Well-Being, Relationship Health/Family Matters
  • Personnel Matters – Recruiting and Retention, Discipline, Training Programs
  • Media Relations and Communication – Crisis Communications, Community Relations/Outreach, Press Conference Performance
  • Internal Policy Issues – Budgets, Funding, Political Impacts, Management Directives
  • Life After Law Enforcement® – Finance, Travel, Engagement, Second Careers
